Alisha is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher with over 25 years of meditation and yoga practice across diverse traditions. She has been teaching mindfulness in the greater New York area and online for the past 15 years, supporting individuals and communities in cultivating resilience, awareness, and compassionate presence. In 2009, a health crisis that could not be resolved through conventional medicine led her to leave her corporate career and rediscover mindfulness as a path toward healing her physical and emotional health. Complementing her MBSR training, Alisha is also certified in teaching Yoga, Qigong, and Plant-Based Nutrition—integrating a holistic approach to well-being that honors the mind and body connection.
