Through the Awareness of Breath practice, we learn how to intentionally focus on our breath. The practice can help us ease our mind and train our attention to be more aware of the here and now.

The intention of this practice is to bring a focused attention to each breath, without trying to change it or control the breath. Learning to do this helps to settle the mind, and also trains our attention and awareness to be more focused on what is actually happening in each moment. Developing these skills will help us to be more present in our daily lives as well.
