When life is busy we can feel disconnected from ourselves and off-balance. With self-care, we gather ourselves back to wholeness.
Mindful stretching unifies mind and body, and supports overall well-being. It improves flexibility and circulation – and it also calms the mind. The body is a powerful anchor to the present moment.
It can be hard to find the positive energy and patience that our family deserves. Slowing down, even for a few minutes, to connect with loved ones each day is a way of honoring that which is most precious and most valuable.
Good friends are like gold. We need social connections to be and feel our best, yet when life is busy we don’t always take the time to reach out.
It’s not easy to say no to requests, or to let go of commitments we’ve already taken on. But saying no and letting go are sometimes necessary to create space for what matters most.
When we connect with nature, we feel more alive and aware that we are part of the natural world and that nature is within us.
Slowing down and savoring makes eating more enjoyable. It also supports our well-being as we make more conscious food choices and tune into the body’s wisdom.
